CHRISTMAS 2009

Christmas was a blast this year. Hunter is now almost 21 months old and while he may not totally understand Christmas, he does get that Santa brings "presents". His favorite was his quad -- jumped right on and rides it like a pro! Good thing it wasn't the first thing he opened, or he may have stopped right there!

After celebrating the fun at TJ and Jenn's, we stopped at Mary Anne and Mike's to see Zach and Taylor. Aunt Colleen made them posters. Zach's was of his football season this year and Tay's was of her dance recitals over the last couple of years.

CHRISTMAS AT GRAMMY AND PAP PAP'S

After everyone had naps, TJ, Jenn & Hunter came in to open presents with Grammy, Pap Pap and Uncle Steve. Fun all over again! He really liked his Wonder Pets School House. TJ & Jenn got many practical gifts (sleeping bags, cooler, pillows) and Steve was thrilled that he got a Lego set! He had it built and in his room later that day.

PARTY AT JENNIFER AND RYAN'S

After some winding down and Hunter's nap, we all went to Jennifer & Ryans to celebrate with the McAllister family. It was pretty icy so it was tricky getting in to the house. We all have a good time when we get together (and of course, lots of food). Highlight was Dustin's friend Sam and her bunny. It was so adorable and soft and everyone had to hold it. I asked if it should "go outside" and she said no, he never had accidents. Well, Taylor had no sooner handed him off to Adam (Ashley's boyfriend) when we saw a couple of turds on the couch. The look on Adam's face was priceless and he slowly stood up and more turds fell on the floor. We were laughing hysterically -- so glad he is a good sport (and that Aunt Colleen didn't have her camera handy).
